About MayKwenta

the story behind the name

MayKwenta PH is a growing suite of Philippine personal finance calculators. Some work out your pay: take-home salary, real hourly rate, prorated pay, night differential, and 13th month. Others handle the government side: SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contributions, the SSS maternity benefit, and the SSS retirement pension. The rest cover the money decisions around them: income tax for employees, freelancers, and online sellers, home, car, and Pag-IBIG loans, MP2 savings, and everyday tools for inflation and fuel cost.

The name carries two meanings. Kwenta is calculation, the math itself. But may kwenta is also how you say something has worth. Both readings are intended. The site gives you your numbers, and it treats the time you spend on a money errand as time that deserves a little care.

What we believe

People usually open a salary calculator while already tired, in the middle of budgeting or paperwork. The tool cannot change what the number says, but it can make finding that number quick and calm. That is what this site is built for.

Accuracy

The calculators use the 2026 SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG schedules, the TRAIN law tax table effective 2023 onward, DOLE labor standards for night differential and holiday premiums, and the current SSS pension and maternity rules. Loan and inflation figures use the latest published rates and price indices. Every figure is an estimate for guidance only and may differ from your official payslip, benefit voucher, or loan offer, since agencies and employers apply their own rounding, timing, and policies. When an agency publishes a new schedule, we update the rates.

Privacy

Every calculation runs on your device. Nothing you type is stored, tracked, or sent to a server. The site shows a small number of ads to stay free; see the privacy policy for details.
