What moves your fuel bill

Three numbers decide it. Here is what each one does.

The math

Distance divided by km per liter gives the liters. Liters times the pump price gives the cost. Nothing more elaborate than that.

km ÷ km/L × ₱/L
Fuel efficiency

The input that changes your bill the most. Traffic, aircon, load, and tire pressure all affect it, so measure your own instead of trusting the brochure.

km per liter
Pump price

Adjusted weekly, usually effective Tuesday. Diesel is priced lower than gasoline per liter.
